The rhythmic beat of the drum,
the beauty of the dance, the bond of the tribe,
......all have become the nourishment of my soul
Studying
and dancing at the Hipnosis Studio, tribal dance has become an intricate and
indispensable part of my life.
I have the privilege of being a member of Tribal Spirit and of
teaching at the Hipnosis Dance Studio.
With a passion for the Hipnosis dance vocabulary, particularly the fine points of dance technique and form, I enjoy teaching and drilling over performing; and derive the greatest joy in seeing (and aiding) dancers to appreciate their own unique beauty of movement.
...I also have 'mad skills' with textiles and am always working on something; organizing and running most of the costuming workshops for the studio.
My personal time is often spent outdoors amidst the gardens and pond, with my Maine Coon (Kai) and my Koi ('the Boyos').
